Al-Qadar (The Decree)
Translation
Verses 1-5
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ (1)
Indeed, We have sent it (the Quran) in the night of decree.
[Al Quran ; 97:1]
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ (2)
And what can make you realize what is the night of decree?
[Al Quran ; 97:2]
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ (3)
The night of decree is better than a thousand month.
[Al Quran ; 97:3]
تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ (4)
The angels and the spirit (Jibreel) descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every command.

سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ (5)
Peace it is, until the rise of the dawn.
