10.71 - And recite to them the news of Nuh when he said to his people: O my people! If my stand and my reminding of the signs of Allah are huge upon you, then upon Allah I have relied. So resolve your affair and your associates. Then let not your affair be obscure to you; then carry it out against me and do not give me respite. 10.72 - But if you turn away, then I did not ask you for any wage; indeed, my wage is only upon Allah, and I am commanded to be from among the submitters. 10.73 - And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors and caused those who denied Our signs to drown. So see how the consequence was for those who were warned. 10.74 - Then We sent after him messengers to their people. And they came to them with the proofs, but they were not to believe in what they had denied before. Thus do We seal upon the hearts of the perpetrators. 10.75 - Then We sent after them Musa and Harun to Firon and his chiefs with Our signs, but they were arrogant and they were a criminal people. 10.76 - So when the truth came to them from Us, they said: Indeed, this is surely an obvious magic. 10.77 - Musa said: Do you say about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But the magicians will not succeed. 10.78 - They said: Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you too may have greatness in the land? And we will not be believers in you. 10.79 - And Firon said: Bring to me every knowledgeable magician. 10.80 - And when the magicians came, Musa said to them: Throw what you have to throw.
