16.51 - And Allah has said: Do not take two gods. He is only one God; so of Me you should be afraid. 16.52 - And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth; and to Him belongs the constant religion. Will you then fear other than Allah? 16.53 - And whatever you have of any favour is from Allah; and when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 16.54 - And when He removes adversity from you, at once a party of you associate others with their Lord. 16.55 - So that they disbelieve in what We have given them; so enjoy yourselves, and you are going to know. 16.56 - And they make for what they do not know a portion of what We have provided them. By Allah, you will be questioned about that which you used to forge. 16.57 - And they make to Allah daughters, glory be to Him, and for them is what they desire. 16.58 - And when one of them is given the news of (the birth of) a female, his face becomes black while he is angry. 16.59 - He hides himself from the people because of the evil of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in disgrace or bury it in the dust? Unquestionably, evil is what they judge. 16.60 - For those who do not believe in the hereafter is the evil example; and for Allah is the highest example. And He is the Mighty, the Wise.
