2.131 - When his Lord said to him: Submit; he said: I submit myself to the Lord of the worlds. 2.132 - And Ibrahim instructed his sons and Yaqoub: O my sons! Indeed, Allah has chosen for you the religion, so do not die except while you are submitters. 2.133 - Or were you witnesses when death came to Yaqoub, when he said to his sons: What will you worship after me? They said: We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq, one God, and to Him we are submitters. 2.134 - That is a nation which has passed on; for it is what it earned, and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be questioned about what they used to do. 2.135 - And they said: Be a Jew or a Christian, you will be guided. Say: Rather, the religion of Ibrahim, the upright , and he was not among the polytheists. 2.136 - Say: We have believed in Allah and in that which had been sent down to us, and in that which was sent down to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and in that which was given to Musa and Isa, and in that which was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not make any distinction between any of them. And to Him, we are submitters. 2.137 - And if they believe in the same as you believe, then they have been guided; and if they turn back, then they are in dissension, and Allah will suffice you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 2.138 - (This is) the religion of Allah. And who has a better religion than Allah? And to Him, we are worshippers. 2.139 - Say: Do you argue with us about Allah, and He is our Lord and your Lord, and for us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And to Him, we are sincere. 2.140 - Or do you say that Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do you know better or Allah? And who is more unjust than one who conceals a testimony that he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
