2.81 - Yes, whoever earned evil and his sin has encompassed him, then those are the companions of the fire; they will be therein abiding. 2.82 - And those who have believed and done good deeds, those are the companions of the garden; they will be therein abiding. 2.83 - And when We took a covenant from the sons of Israel that you do not worship (anyone) except Allah, and to the parents do good, and the relatives and the orphans and the needy, and you should say to the people good, and establish the prayer and pay Zakah (Alms). Then you turned away except a few of you while you were averting. 2.84 - And when We took a covenant from you that you do not shed your blood or evict yourselves from your homes. Then you ratified while you were witnessing. 2.85 - Then you are those who kill yourselves and evict a team from among you from their homes, backing against them in sin and perpetration. And if they come to you as prisoners of war, you ransom them, while their eviction is prohibited to you. So do you believe in part of the book and disbelieve in (other) part? Therefore the reward for those who do that among you is not but disgrace in the life of this world; and on the day of resurrection, they will be returned to the severest of torture. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. 2.86 - Those are the ones who bought the life of this world instead of the hereafter; so torture will not be lightened nor will they helped. 2.87 - And We gave Musa the book and caused the messengers after him to follow; and We gave Isa, the son of Mariam, proofs and supported him with the holy spirit. But is it not that whenever a messenger came to you with that which your souls do not desire, you acted arrogantly? So a team (of the messengers), you denied; and another team (of the messengers), you killed. 2.88 - And they said: Our hearts are wrapped. Rather, Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so little is that in which they believe. 2.89 - And when there came to them a book from Allah verifying that which was with them while before that they used to seek victory against those who have disbelieved, but when there came to them that which they knew, they disbelieved in it; so the curse of Allah is upon the unbelievers. 2.90 - Miserable is the price for which they have sold their souls, that they disbelieve in what Allah has sent down, out of outrage that Allah would send down His favour upon whom He wills of His servants; so they deserved anger upon anger. And for the unbelievers, there will be a humiliating torture.
