23.71 - And had the Truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and whoever is therein would have been corrupted. Rather, We have brought to them their reminder,; and they are, from their reminder, turning away. 23.72 - Or do you ask them for a payment? And the payment of your Lord is best. And He is the best of the providers. 23.73 - And indeed, you surely invite them to a straight path. 23.74 - And indeed, those who do not believe in the hereafter are surely, from the path, deviating. 23.75 - And if We granted them mercy and removed what is with them of harm, they would persist in their transgression blindly. 23.76 - And We have certainly seized them with torture, yet they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate. 23.77 - Until when We have opened upon them a door of severe torture, at once they will be therein in despair. 23.78 - And it is He Who established for you hearing and visions and hearts, little that you give thanks. 23.79 - And it is He Who made you settle on the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 23.80 - And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and to Him belongs the alternation of the night and the day. Will you not then understand?
