3.21 - Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right, and kill those who command justice among the people, give them tidings of a painful torture. 3.22 - Those are the ones whose deeds have become nullified in this world and the hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers. 3.23 - Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the book? They are invited to the book of Allah to judge between them; then a party of them turns away in aversion. 3.24 - That is because they said: Fire will never touch us except for numbered days; and they were deluded in their religion by what they used to forge. 3.25 - So how will it be when We gather them for a day about which there is no doubt? And every soul will be fully paid for what it has earned, and they will not be dealt with unjustly. 3.26 - Say: O Allah, Owner of kingdom, You give kingdom to whom You will, and You remove kingdom from whom You will. And You honour whom You will and You humiliate whom You will. In Your hand is all good; indeed, You are over everything Capable. 3.27 - You cause the night to merge into the day and You cause the day to merge into the night. And You bring the living from the dead, and You bring the dead from the living. And You provide for whom You will without measure. 3.28 - Let not the believers take the unbelievers as guardians other than the believers; and whoever does that has nothing with Allah, except when you take protection against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself; and to Allah is the destination. 3.29 - Say: Whether you conceal what is in your chests or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And Allah is over everything Capable. 3.30 - The day when every soul will find what it has done of good present and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that (evil) a long distance. And Allah warns you of Himself; and Allah is Kind to all servants.
