36.31 - Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them? Indeed, they do not return to them. 36.32 - And indeed, all of them together will be made before Us, present. 36.33 - And a sign for them is the dead land; We give life to it and bring forth from it grain, and from it they eat. 36.34 - And We have made therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines, and We caused to burst forth therefrom some springs. 36.35 - That they may eat of its plant produce. And their hands did not produce it; so will they not be grateful? 36.36 - Glory be to Him Who created all pairs of what the earth grows and of themselves and of that which they do not know. 36.37 - And a sign for them is the night, We skin from it the day, so they are in darkness. 36.38 - And the sun runs toward its stable point; that is the determination of the Mighty, the Knowing. 36.39 - And the moon, We have determined for it phases, until it returns back like the old date branch. 36.40 - It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day; and all are in orbit, floating.
