43.41 - And whether (or not) We take you away; indeed, We are, from them, taking retribution. 43.42 - Or whether (or not) We show you that which We promised them; indeed, We are, over them, Capable. 43.43 - So adhere to that which has been revealed to you; indeed, you are on a straight path. 43.44 - And indeed, it is a reminder for you and your people; and you are going to be questioned. 43.45 - And ask those whom We sent before you of Our messengers. Have We made other than the Compassionate gods to be worshipped? 43.46 - And We have certainly sent Musa with Our signs to Firon and his chiefs, so he said: Indeed, I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds. 43.47 - So when he came to them with Our signs, at once they laughed at them. 43.48 - And We did not show them a sign except it was greater than its sister; and We seized them with torture that perhaps they will return. 43.49 - And they said: O magician! Call for us your Lord by the covenant which He has made with you; indeed, we will be guided. 43.50 - And when We removed from them the torture, at once they broke their word.
