6.71 - Say: Shall we call upon other than Allah those which do not benefit us nor harm us and be returned back on our heels after Allah has guided us? It is like one whom the devils have enticed in the land wandering; he has companions who call him to guidance, (saying): Come to us. Say: Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the guidance, and we are commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds. 6.72 - And establish the prayer and fear Him. And it is He to Whom you will be gathered. 6.73 - And it is He Who has created the heavens and the earth in truth. And the day when He says: Be, and it is. His saying is the truth, and to Whom belongs the kingdom the day when the trumpet will be blown. The Knowing of the unseen and testimony, and He is the Wise, the Acquainted. 6.74 - And when Ibrahim said to his father Azar: Do you take statues as gods? Indeed, I see you and your people in obvious misguidance. 6.75 - And thus did We show Ibrahim the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and that he might be among the asserted. 6.76 - And when the night covered him, he saw a planet. He said: This is my lord. But when it set, he said: I do not like those that set. 6.77 - And when he saw the moon rising, he said: This is my lord. But when it set, he said: If my Lord does not guide me, I would certainly be among the misguided people. 6.78 - And when he saw the sun rising, he said: This is my lord; this is the greater. But when it set, he said: O my people! Indeed, I am innocent of that which you associate. 6.79 - Indeed, I have turned my face toward the One Who originated the heavens and the earth, and I am not among the polytheists. 6.80 - And his people argued with him. He said: Do you argue with me about Allah and He has already guided me? And I do not fear what you associate with Him unless my Lord wills something. My Lord encompasses everything in knowledge; will you not then remember?
